Lesson 26:Is this supposed to be an inclass activity? The one about the Mouse Caper?
Lesson 27: I don't understand
Lesson 28:HANDOUT
1) Work out a "want" list with someone else for an agreement that you're trying to reach with someone. Then, make a list of possible "third alternative" solutions that would be good for both parties.
Issue: Two group members disagree over how the credits for a film should be. Person 1 said that only the overall roles should be included, because if some people did more then others, the whole group could be penalized. Person 2 said all the roles should be included, as that was what really happened.
Group member 1's "want" list Group Member 2's "want" list
Only original roles included Honest and fair representation of the roles,
-everybody seems to do about and what went on during the project
the same amount of work
-higher marks
Group Member 1's "don't want" list Group Member 2's "don't want" list
-lower marks "fudging the truth" just to get a better mark
-some group members appearing to
do more than other group members
Third Alternative: Hand in the overall roles on the submission, but the specific roles in the movie credits.
